10:00 AM            Blooper Reel.  Sometimes the production of television science fiction adventures didn’t go quite as originally scripted.  These blooper reels provide another form of entertainment altogether.

11:00 AM            Jitendra Joshi, PhD. As Chief Technology Advisor for the Advanced Capabilities Division of NASA’s Exploration Systems Mission Directorate, he is on the front line of planning for future manned missions.  He will provide a program overview.

12:00 Noon            Science Fiction in 3D.  York’s own David Turner provides a look at science fiction and science fact through the use of 3D imagery.  Special glasses provided.

1:00 PM            Stephen Segal Editorial & Creative Director of Weird Tales magazine.  The longest-running magazine of science fiction stories was once home to such writers as H.P.Lovecraft, Robert Howard and Ray Bradbury.  Mr. Segal will bring us up-to-date with events surrounding the magazine’s 85^th Anniversary.

2:00 PM            Danielle Ackley-McPhail has a number of science fiction titles to her credit (including two coming out in August!).  She is also the editor of the Bad-Ass Fairies anthologies.  She’ll discuss the writer’s life.

3:00 PM            Dorian Gray (yes, that’s his real name), was the kind of kid who liked to draw moustaches on pictures of action heroes and politicians.  As a matter of fact, he still does.  He is also a very funny man.  His standup comedy is science fiction-based. What could go wrong?

4:00 PM            Brian Koscienski and Chris Pisano are the founders, editors, creative directors and the guys who sweep up the soon-to-be publishing empire known as Fortress Publishing, Inc.  They will discuss the business-side of science fiction and what it takes to make it.

5:00 PM            To Serve Man was an episode of The Twilight Zone based on an original story by Damon Knight.  We will enjoy it once again, this time with surround-sound and a wide-screen TV.  In glorious black & white.  Free popcorn provided.

6:00 PM            Official launch party: Scary Tales of Scariness.  The latest tome from Fortress Publishing receives its formal launch during this wine-and-cheese reception.
